So there I was in the local Walmart Superstore of Lubbock, Texas with about one million different kinds of Lean Cuisine beckoning to me. While the picture on the front of this little number pulled me in at the supermarket, the product didn’t exactly look like the box.( Doesn’t it look good in the picture? I was hypnotized…) Now, I am not new to Lean Cuisine, BUT if there are vegetables present on the box, I’d like to see at least one of that kind of vegetable when I prepare the meal- maybe even a small sliver. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera on my at the time of consumption or else I would have provided you, the reader, with proof.
As far as taste goes the Chicken Mediterranean was okay, although a little on the spicy side for me. The chicken was actually very tasty once you get past the “melt in your mouth chicken” thing. I don’t want to scare anyone away from these delicious meals, but you have to admit that chicken products in frozen dinners certainly have a way about them.
Here is what some other people thought about the meal:
Hungry Girl reviewed this Lean Cuisine Meal for an Ivillage.com article and seemed to like it, particularly its low fat qualities- and I agree! : )
Overall, this was a yummy frozen dinner, but eater beware if you are looking for a veggie serving from this dish I would suggest you steer clear.
